A steep unused slope was turned into a fantasy garden for children – with a fortress accessible only by drawbridge and ladders, a safe shallow pebble lined pool, waterfall and bridge; a winding path through tall grasses and a separate trampoline terrace.

For adults an elegant seating area looks out over a formal yew bordered garden. On this terrace water flows out of a copper spout set into a wall, next to a stone bench, flanked by copper planting pots.
