This garden, directly on the road had black railings and an attractive front step to the house – but the rest was a muddy mess. The garden was re-designed to be completely in keeping with the Victorian house front and attractive all year round, with a strong structure of brick, box hedge and standard roses. This is softened by traditional cottage garden planting, mostly consisting of evergreen groundcover in silver and green.
