Whether you want to completely transform your garden or simply breathe life into an existing border I can provide all the help you need.

I offer a free initial visit so that you can meet me and see whether you would feel comfortable working with me. I use this opportunity to view your garden and to discuss your requirements in detail with you.

Following this visit I will confirm in writing a price for each phase of the process.

All projects are priced in phases so that you only pay for those services you require.

Free initial visit
During which we discuss your requirements and preferences. Following this I will provide you with a written quotation broken down into each stage so that you can choose only those elements you require.

Design Process
Survey of your garden and soil analysis. A variety of alternative design are drawn and discussed with you resulting in a final colour design drawn to scale. This can be used for planning permission, given to a landscaper, used to build the garden yourself; or if you wish I can manage the project through to completion.

Construction
I can provide any or all of the following:
• Production of Tender Drawings and Specification.
• Management of tendering
• Project management of construction to ensure you get what was quoted for.

Plants
• Planting plan and planting schedule, showing quantity and location of every plant.
• Sourcing of highest quality plants at prices below garden centre prices
• Planting Maintenance plan

I work regularly with a number of different landscaping companies and specialist contractors so I can advise which companies will be best for your particular requirements. I can also source & supply the highest quality plants at prices significantly below garden centre prices.

I also provide a follow up garden maintenance service. This can be arranged as a regular contract – for example half a day every other week – or on an adhoc basis as required.

• Design fees for an average back garden usually range between £300 and £600 depending on the size and complexity of the site.
• Planting plans usually average between £200 and £300 for an average sized garden.
• Project management of tendering and construction will be charged at £35 an hour or 8% of the total construction cost – whichever is lower.
• If you just need some advice, for example on selecting plants or dealing with difficult areas in your garden I charge £35 an hour for my time.
