This small back garden was dominated by a huge conifer hedge, a shed, a few large shrubs and a shapeless lawn. By removing the hedge, repositioning the shed and creating a circular lawn, surrounded by a brick path that the grandchildren can race round on their bikes this garden appears twice the size that it seemed before. A water feature was centred on a wall created to hide the bins and a bench beneath a pergola completes the picture.
